Nailing tip

When hammering brads or shorter nails, don't hold the nail like a dart with your thumb and index finger; hold your palm up and put the nail in between your index and middle fingers. If you miss, you'll tap the fleshy pads of your fingers rather than delivering a sideways blow to your fingertips.—Nailing Tip #2
